ABOUT RICH REDMOND
Highly decorated recording and touring drummer who gained prominence as the long-time drummer for country music sensation Jason Aldean . Over the course of his career, he has played on over 30 #1 singles for some of the music industry's most celebrated artists, including Kelly Clarkson , Ludacris , and Keith Urban . He is also a renowned author and motivational speaker who has been named as Country Drummer of the Year by respected publications including Drum! and Modern Drummer magazines on multiple occasions.
He started playing drums when he was only 8 years old before going on to perform alongside the 1:00 Lab Band throughout his college career. He earned his master's degree in music education from the University of North Texas .
He has authored several books including Making It in Country Music and the best-selling children's instruction book FUNdamentals of Drumming for Kids. He also established the motivational program and coaching method CRASH Course for Success, (Commitment, Relationships, Attitude, Skill, and Hunger), which he has brought to market-leading corporations including Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and Hewlett Packard, as well as schools and students around the globe.
He became engaged to his fiancé Kara Stevie in March 2025.
He has worked with an extensive list of high-profile musicians throughout his career including Miranda Lambert , Jewel , and Bob Seger , among countless others.
