English screen actor who played Lord Voldemort in the 2001 film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone . He also starred in the 1999 medieval thriller The 13th Warrior.
He appeared in a 1981 short called Couples and Robbers; a decade and a half later, he earned his first feature film credit in The Girl with Brains in Her Feet.
He played the role of King Henry in the 2001 film Just Visiting.
He was born and raised in Warwickshire, England.
He and Rupert Grint both played supporting roles in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
