ABOUT RICHARD EDSON
Famous as both a musician and an actor, he played drums or horns for the bands Konk and The Offs and appeared in the films Ferris Bueller's Day Off (as a parking attendant) and Joey Breaker (as the title character). He has amassed over 100 acting credits throughout his ongoing career.
In the early 1980s, he served as Sonic Youth's first drummer.
Between 1999 and 2002, he starred in three Raphael Nadjari-directed movies. He was the original drummer for the band The Sonic Youth.
The children of Marian and Arnold Edson, he and his siblings Andrea, Jennifer, and Steven were raised in New Rochelle, New York.
He co-starred with John Lurie in the 1984 comedy movie Stranger Than Paradise.
