Richard Garnett
ABOUT RICHARD GARNETT
A British author, poet, librarian, and scholar, he is particularly known for his 1888 work, The Twilight of the Gods. He also published biographies of John Milton and Thomas Carlyle .
He began working for the library department of the British Museum in 1851.
He was fascinated by astrology and, to escape ridicule, published a piece on the topic under a pseudonym.
His father, Richard Garnett, was also an author.
He wrote a biography of William Blake .
