ABOUT RICHARD PORTNOW

Actor who appeared on such TV series as The Sopranos and Boston Legal and in such films as Seven and The Spirit.

He studied theatre at Brooklyn College, where he was advised not to pursue acting professionally.

He starred in Broadway productions of The House of Blue Leaves and A Month of Sundays.

He was born in Brooklyn to Al and Flo Portnow and grew up with a sister named Gayle and a brother named Jay.

He appeared in the 1987 Barry Levinson film Good Morning, Vietnam .
