ABOUT RICHARD AGUILAR VILLA

Colombian politician and attorney who is recognized for having served as governor of Santander from 2012 to 2015. In 2018, he went on to become elected as a senator of the republic.

He began his career as a trainee in the Department of Foreign Investment and Services.

In 2014, he published a book titled The Son of War.

He is the son of Hugo Aguilar who was a key player in bringing down the drug trafficker Pablo Escobar .

He and Federico Gutierrez were both involved in Colombian politics.
