ABOUT RICK HOYT
Former marathon athlete and military serviceman best known for his appearances during the Boston Marathon. He raced in the Boston Marathon for almost forty years. Over the years, he competed in over 257 triathlons.
He is a graduate of Boston University . He finished with a degree in special education.
In 2008, he was named to the Ironman Hall of Fame. Since then, he has been featured on ESPN and he has had a statue built of him.
He is a native of the Boston, Massachusetts area. He is one of three brothers.
He shares a January 10th birthday with Mason Mount .
