Comedian who starred in the one-man shows Only the Truth: mid-Life at the Oasis is Funny and Love, God, Sex (and Other Stuff I Don't Have).

He grew up with a manic depressive mother after losing his father before his 1st birthday.

He performed Only the Truth is Funny and All Grow Up...And No Place to Go in the early 1990s.

He got married to his second wife, Lisa Reynolds, in 1983; the couple had a son named Cooper.

He was a featured guest on The Late Show with David Letterman in 1997.
