ABOUT RICKY KARCHER

Professional relief pitcher that was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds during the 13th round of the 2017 Major League Draft. He was selected from Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tennessee.

Prior to Walters State, he attended University of Michigan . He only pitched in five games before transferring.

He recorded a career-low 3.65 era in 56.2 innings during the 2022 minor league season. He also collected a career-high 88 strikeouts.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Saline, Michigan. He is one of three siblings.

He is a former Michigan Wolverine collegiate athlete just like Juwan Howard , Tim Hardaway Jr. and Trey Burke .
