ABOUT RIDWAN KAMIL

Most well known as the mayor of the city of Bandung in West Java, Malaysia. He is also an award-winning entrepreneur and architect and, in 2004, was a co-founder of the architectural firm Urbane Indonesia.

After completing his undergraduate degree in architecture at Bandung Institute of Technology, he went on to earn a master's in urban design from the University of California, Berkeley.

In 2009, he was named Architect of the Year by Elle Decor Magazine.

He and his wife, Atalia Praratya, have two children, Emmiril Khan Mumtadz and Camillia Laetitia Azzahra.

In 2015, he made a cameo in the comedy film The Wedding and Bebek Betutu alongside Tora Sudiro .
