Dutch professional soccer player of Curaçaoan descent who has made a name for himself as a member of Ajax, Vitesse, and the Netherlands national team. He made his senior debut for the Netherlands in 2015. He has played as a center-back and a defensive midfielder.

He spent his youth career as a member of USV Elinkwijk, PSV Eindhoven, and Ajax.

He was named the Ajax Talent of the Year for 2016. He helped lead the Netherlands to victory in the 2012 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
