ABOUT RILEY GREENE

Professional center fielder and corner outfielder that was originally drafted by the Detroit Tigers during the first round of the 2019 Major League Draft. He was later named the second best MLB prospect in the entire minor leagues during the 2021 and 2022 regular seasons.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Paul J. Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida. Shortly after being drafted, he began his professional career playing for the GCL Tigers before being sent to the Connecticut Tigers.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Texas Rangers on June 18, 2022. He finished the game hitting 2 for 3.

He grew up living with his family in the Orlando, Florida area. He's African American on his dad's side.

He was high school teammates with Vaughn Grissom .
