ABOUT RIYA JAMA
Somali-Canadian visual artist, photographer and writer who's known for representing East Africa in her creations. Her artwork has incorporated social issues such as domestic violence, racism, bullying and depression.
Her first solo exhibit, Riyadii Farxiyo, was based on her recurring dreams.
Her work has been featured at the Afro-Futurism Conference in New York.
Her mother's name is Jamila.
She became recognized for her unique visual art like Stephanie Sarley and David Le Batard .
