ABOUT ROB DEER

Former MLB outfielder whose career spanned from 1984 to 1996.

He was a 4th round pick of the San Francisco Giants in the 1978 amateur draft.

He hit a game-tying home run on Easter Sunday in 1987, to give the Milwaukee Brewers their 12th straight win to start the season.

He became an active drag racer with his father Bob Deer after his retirement from the majors.

From 1986 to 1990 he played with Hall of Famer Robin Yount on the Milwaukee Brewers.
