ABOUT ROB MCELHENNEY

Actor, creator, and executive producer of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He stars as Mac on the show alongside Danny DeVito , Charlie Day , Glenn Howerton , and Kaitlin Olson . In 2022, he produced and starred alongside Ryan Reynolds in the TV documentary series Welcome to Wrexham.

He had a small role in the film, The Devil's Own in 1997 and while still waiting tables in between jobs, his manager pitched It's Always Sunny to FX.

He played the role of Also on an episode of the popular television show Lost. He plays Ian in the Apple TV series Mythic Quest.

He married co-star Kaitlin Olson on September 27, 2008. They have two sons named Axel and Leo.

He played a role in the film Wonder Boys opposite Tobey Maguire .
