ABOUT ROBBIE DIACK
In 2008, this South African-born rugby union flanker, lock, and number eight began playing for Northern Ireland's Ulster club. Then, in 2014, he played for the Irish national rugby team, defeating Argentina in a summer match.
Before joining Ulster, he played for South Africa's The Stormers rugby club.
At six feet and five inches tall and nearly 240 pounds, he established himself as a powerful presence on the rugby field.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he attended school in KwaZulu-Nata, South Africa, before marrying and relocating to Belfast, Northern Ireland.
He and his contemporary and fellow South African athlete, Ruan Pienaar , both played for Ulster.
