ABOUT ROBBY THOMPSON

Former second baseman who became a two-time All-Star during his 11-year career with the San Francisco Giants. After his retirement, he served as a first base and bench coach for teams like the Giants and the Cleveland Indians.

He played at Forest Hill Community High School in West Palm Beach, Florida and earned a scholarship to the University of Florida.

He received the Willie Mac Award for leadership from his Giants teammates and coaches in 1991.

He has children named Kristeena, Andrew, Logan and Tyler.

He was teammates with 11-time All-Star catcher Gary Carter in San Francisco.
