ABOUT ROBERT ALFONS
Singer and musician behind the Canadian Synthpop group TR/ST. The critically acclaimed group first rose to fame in 2012 after the release of their debut self-titled album. They then followed up with their sophomore record Joyland in 2014.
TR/ST first formed in 2010 after he met former bandmate Maya Postepski of the group Austra. They released their debut singles "Candy Walls" and "Bulbform" in 2011.
TR/ST's debut album was acclaimed by critics in both the National Post and Pitchfork Media.
He is a native of Toronto, Ontario.
Both he and Jaden Chase are well-known Canadian pop artists.
