ABOUT ROBERT CHAPLIN

Canadian artist, writer, and publisher. His award-winning, artwork-filled books include Brussels Sprouts & Unicorns and Ten Counting Cat.

He was an art student at the University of Victoria.

He often created works of art by carving obsidian and other gemstones. He also earned a Guinness World Record for publishing the tiniest book in the world.

He was born in Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

His Canadian contemporary David Neel also had a successful career as an artist.
