ABOUT ROBERT GARCIA

Southpaw reliever that was originally drafted by the Kansas City Royals as a 12th round pick in the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft. Four years later, he was then acquired by the Miami Marlins in 2021. Since then, he has pitched within the Washington Nationals and Texas Rangers organizations.

Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at UC Davis . While there, he studied managerial economics.

He made his official major league debut while pitching against the Baltimore Orioles on July 14, 2023. He only faced one batter during his debut with the Marlins.

He lives along with his wife, Paige, and their family. He is a father of two.

He credits Nolan Ryan as being one of his biggest baseball influences while coming up.
