Robert Kilroy-Silk

ABOUT ROBERT KILROY-SILK

Former host of the daytime talk show Kilroy who later became an English Member of Parliament. He founded his own political party, called Veritas, in 2005.

He taught Politics at the University of Liverpool from 1966 to 1974.

He became the subject of controversy after his appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, which some felt was a conflict of interest since he was still a Member of Parliament.

His father died while serving on a submarine that was torpedoed by German E-Boats in 1943.

He was supported by actress Joan Collins during his European Parliament Election campaign in 2004.
