ABOUT ROBIA SARA RASHID
Screenwriter known for being the creator and executive producer of the hit Netflix TV show, Atypical . She is also known for her producing and screenwriting work on How I Met Your Mother and Camp.
In 2005, she graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a Master's of Fine Arts degree in the dramatic writing program.
In 2018, her TV show Atypical was nominated for a Peabody Award. She posts career updates on her robiarashid Instagram.
Her husband is Michael Oppenhuizen. She has two children.
During her time at NYU, her writing professor Cindy Chupack shared her spec script with her agent. This helped her land her first staff writing job on the final season of Will & Grace .
