ABOUT ROBIN ELLIS
English actor who played the role of Captain Ross Poldark in the BBC television series Poldark. He also narrated documentaries such as End of Empire and The Second Russian Revolution.
He went to Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and appeared in over 20 plays.
He published a memoir entitled Making Poldark and a cookbook entitled Delicious Dishes for Diabetics: A Mediterranean Way of Eating.
He married and his brother is actor Jack Ellis.
He appeared in a production of Knots based on the book by R.D. Laing .
