ABOUT ROBIN LAING

Scottish actor known for portraying Edward Heffron in Band of Brothers and DI Donald in River City . He started his acting career in theatre, landing a role as Renton in Trainspotting for his stage debut. Some of his other television credits include roles in Outlander and Waterloo Road .

He studied theatre and drama at Fife College in Kirkcaldy, UK.

His participation in Band of Brothers resulted in a friendship with war hero Edward Heffron. He has recorded a number of audiobooks for both adults and children.

He was born in Dundee, Scotland.

He worked alongside Diane Kruger on the cast of the 2005 war drama film Joyeux Noël .
