ABOUT ROD REED
College football coach who began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Prarie View A&M in 1991. In 2010, he was hired as the head coach of the Tennessee State Tigers.
He was born in Marshall, Texas and was a linebacker at Tennessee State from 1985 to 1988.
He and his father Bob both played at Tennessee State.
He married a woman named Tamika, with whom he has children.
He has coached at Tennessee State University, alma mater of NFL center Cecil Newton Jr.
