ABOUT ROLAND DYENS
Award-winning classical musician, composer, and arranger who became known for his improvisational abilities.
He studied under famed Spanish classical guitarist Alberto Ponce .
He was known for incorporating folk and jazz elements into his pieces; his compositions "Tango en Skaï" and "Libra Sonatine" were popular among his peers.
He settled with his family in Paris, where he became a professor of guitar at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
He was influenced by Carlos Montoya .
