Roman Harper

ABOUT ROMAN HARPER

Pro bowl safety who made his NFL debut in 2006 for the New Orleans Saints, and started for the team when it won Super Bowl XLIV.

He was a first-team All-SEC selection at the University of Alabama, before being selected in the 2nd round of the 2006 NFL draft.

In 2007 he was the recipient of the NFL's Ed Block Courage Award.

His mother, Princess Harper, helped him found the Harper's Hope Foundation.

He spent most of his time in New Orleans being coached by Sean Payton .
