Swiss and Italian tennis player who has won over 32 champion titles.

She was an amatuer tennis player until she went pro in 2005.

Her major competitions have included the 2011 and 2012 US Open, the 2012 Australian Open, the 2007, 2011, and 2012 French Open, and Wimbledon in 2010 and 2012.

Her brother, Romeo Oprandi, had a major influence on her career, even becoming her coach at one point.

She won the 2012 EmblemHealth Open singles title after defeating Anna Chakvetadze .
