ABOUT RON HOLGATE
Stage actor who won a Tony Award for his role as Richard Henry Lee in the musical 1776. His other Broadway credits include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Lend Me a Tenor, and Annie Get Your Gun.
He toured with the New England Opera Theater in the early 1960s.
He appeared in Off-Broadway productions of Heroes and Blue Plate Special.
He married Anny DeGange in 1989 after divorcing Dorothy Collins in 1977.
He acted opposite William Daniels in the film adaptation of 1776.
