ABOUT RON PERRY

Music Producer known for being the Chairman and CEO of Columbia records starting in January 2018. He is known for personally signing and doing the A&R for Lil Nas X , whose song " Old Town Road " is one of the longest-running songs on the Billboard 100 list.

He was the former president of SONGS Music Publishing before becoming a Columbia records A&R representative.

In December 2020 he received the Variety's Hitmakers Executive of the Year. He plays guitar. He appeared on South Park for three episodes in season 18.

He lives and works in New York. He has a golden retriever Chihuahua named Ms. Larry David.

He has played guitar on stage with Miley Cyrus , John Mayer , and Leon Bridges .
