ABOUT RON YARY
Hall-of-Fame offensive tackle who spent his NFL career playing for the Minnesota Vikings and LA Rams; seven-time Pro Bowl selection and eight-time All-Pro.
He played football, baseball, and basketball at Bellflower High School in California; later, the football field was named after him.
He played college football at USC and won the Outland Trophy and the Knute Rockne Award, given to the top offensive lineman in the country.
He has two sons: Jack, who was born in 2001, and Grant, who was born in 2005.
He credited head coach Bud Grant as one of the biggest influences on his football career.
