ABOUT RONALD SUKENICK
An American writer and literary theorist, he is best known for his 2003 work, Death of the Novel and Other Stories. His other works include Long Talking, Bad Conditions, Blues; Up; 98.6; and Mosaic Man.
He studied at Cornell University and Brandeis University and wrote his doctoral thesis on the literary work of Wallace Stevens .
He often used himself as a character in his short stories.
He grew up in Brooklyn, New York. After divorcing Lynn Luria, he married Julia Frey.
He and David Smith both taught at Sarah Lawrence College.
