ABOUT RONJA VON RONNE

Controversial German blogger, journalist and writer from Berlin. She became well-known after going on a literary rant about how feminism has become obsolete in a column for the daily newspaper Die Welt in 2015.

She studied journalism at the University of Vienna and dropped out after just one month. She later went on to pursue journalism and theatre studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She also studied creative writing and cultural journalism at the University of Hildesheim.

She runs her own blog, Sudelheft. She published her first novel, Wir kommen (We're coming), in 2016 at just 24 years old.

She grew up in the market town Grassau in Bavaria, Germany. She has also lived in Berlin.

She and fellow journalist Emma Forrest both published their first books at young ages.
