ABOUT RORY DELAP

Former club midfielder who played soccer professionally for almost 20 years. During those years, he also played for the Irish men's national team. Shortly after retiring, he began his professional coaching career in 2015.

He initially began playing soccer as a young boy coming up. He later began playing for the Carlisle United youth soccer club as a teenager in 1992.

He played in just over 500 club matches during his long-time soccer career. He played in a career-high 37 club matches with Stoke City FC during the 2010 English Premier League season.

He lives along with his wife and their children in England. His son, Liam Delap , is also a professional soccer player.

He played alongside Robbie Keane as a member of the Irish men's national team during his professional career.
