American voice actress who has risen to fame for playing the lead role in Disney Pixar's Turning Red . She has also starred in multiple short films. She has been acting on-screen since 2017.

In 2017, she appeared in two episodes of Clique Wars .

She published a poetry book called A is for Albatross: Birds A to Z, which won the Skipping Stone Honor Book Award in 2017. One of her hobbies is playing the piano.

Her parents are from Taiwan and Singapore.

She worked alongside Sandra Oh in Turning Red.
