ABOUT ROSENDO MERCADO
Guitarist, performer, singer, instrumentalist, artist, musician, entertainer, and vocalist who pioneered Spain's urban rock movement in the late 1970s. He was the front man for the hard rock band Leño. He saw the peak of his commercial success with the release of his first solo album, 1985's Loco por Incordiar.
He dropped out of engineering school in the early 1970s to pursue music.
His musical influences include Rory Gallagher , Deep Purple , and Black Sabbath , among others. His album Siempre Hay Una Historia was recorded live at Carabanchel Prison.
He was born in Madrid, Spain.
He has performed live with the singer Luz Casal .
