Social media sensation, actor, entertainer, performer, and filmmaker famously known for being a member of the celebrated sketch-comedy YouTube channel Viva La Dirt League . The Streamy Award-nominated channel has featured original comedic sketches primarily related to tech and gaming and has featured guest stars including actors John Callen and Britt Scott Clark .

In 2005, he earned a bachelor's degree in performing arts from Toi Whakaari, which is one of the most esteemed drama schools in New Zealand. He began his career appearing in stage productions of theatre shows like Short Sharp Shakes and Great Expectations.

Outside of VLDL, he has appeared in films such as Avatar and Home by Christmas. He has also starred in episodes of Power Rangers and on television series including Spartacus and Dear Murderer. Her channel has enlisted a massive following of over 7 million subscribers since its inception in 2011.

He and his wife Claire married on January 19, 2019. The following year, they adopted a rescue greyhound together named Baelin.

In 2017, he portrayed the role of James McGinn on the television mini-series American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story. He starred on the series alongside Victoria Abbott , Emmett Skilton , and Kelson Henderson .
