Actress who, at age 14, won a Primetime Emmy for her role as Amelia Bennet in the TV movie Something about Amelia.

She appeared on Hart to Hart when she was twelve years old. Her other early acting credits include roles in the films Testament and Table for Five and a guest spot on Walt Disney 's Wonderful World of Color.

She was the star and co-producer of Broken Vessels, a 1998 independent film.

She was born in Malibu, California to Hossein and Maureen Zal.

She starred opposite Ted Danson in Something About Amelia. Danson played her character's sexually abusive father.
