ABOUT ROXANNE MODAFFERI

UFC, Strikeforce, and Invicta FC bantamweight and flyweight known for her appearance on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate. She won her first fight on the show to enter the TUF House, but was eliminated in her next fight.

She grew up training in karate, judo, and jiu-jitsu. She attended the University of Massachusetts and started fighting professionally while studying abroad in Japan in 2003.

For nearly the first decade of her fighting career, she also worked at a school in Japan, where she tought English. She started fighting full-time after appearing on TUF.

She's of Italian and Lithuanian descent.

She fought Raquel Pennington at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale, losing by unanimous decision.
