ABOUT RUSS COURTNALL

Former right winger who played in the NHL from 1983 to 1999 for several teams and also played internationally for Team Canada; scored a career high 36 goals with the Minnesota North Stars during the 1992-93 season and recorded 744 points in his 1,029 game NHL career.

He played for the Victoria Cougars in the WHL before beginning his NHL career.

He was selected seventh overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1983 NHL Draft.

He married actress Paris Vaughan in 1995.

He played alongside eight-time All-Star Luc Robitaille on the Los Angeles Kings.
