Canadian television actor who played the role of J.T. Yorke on the popular teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation and also starred in Queer as Folk .

He appeared on the TV series, I Was a Sixth Grade Alien, early in his career.

He appeared in The Color of Friendship on the Disney Channel and in Cybermutt on Animal Planet.

He was born in Orangeville, Ontario to drummer Charlie Cooley.

He and Elliot Page both appeared in the 2007 film The Tracey Fragments.
