Soccer player who has been a standout defender for such clubs as Tottenham Hotspur , Bristol City FC and Fulham F.C. He was named to the PFA Team of the Year for the 2017-18 season.

He came up through Tottenham Hotspur's youth academy and signed his first professional contract in 2010.

He was a talented track and field athlete, becoming a district champion in the triple jump and 100m.

He has an older sister named Thea.

He has been teammates with defender Tim Ream at Fulham.
