ABOUT RYAN JAMAAL SWAIN
Popular television and theater actor that is most recognized by his role as Damon in the TV drama series Pose . He has also gained recognition from his roles in different stage plays such as Anything Goes, Six Degrees of Separation, Thoughts of a Colored Man and Kill Move Paradise.
He first enrolled into Howard University as a freshman in the year 2012. Just a few years later, he graduated from Howard in the year 2016.
Besides acting, he also has a passion for screenwriting. He once received writing credits for his work in the 2014 stage play A Negro Writer, which was based on the life of Langston Hughes . Due to his popularity, he has accumulated over 280,000 followers on his Ryanjamaalswain Instagram account.
Although he was born in Orlando, Florida, he grew up living in Birmingham, Alabama.
He co-starred alongside Evan Peters and Kate Mara in the FX drama series Pose.
