Deaf actor known for playing William Ellsworth Hoy in Dummy Hoy : A Deaf Hero and Travis on ABC's Switched at Birth.

He graduated from the California School for the Deaf, Riverside in 2007. He began his acting career at the age of 19.

He is involved in the charity Dogs for the Deaf, which trains dogs to assist the deaf and hearing-impaired.

He was born to parents Jill and William Lane, whom divorced when he was 8. He has siblings named Hayley and Kristyn.

He portrayed Dummy Hoy , a deaf pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, in the television movie Dummy Hoy: A Deaf Hero.
