Pop music performer who rose to fame as one half of the Los Angeles based electro-pop duo Capital Cities. He and his bandmate Sebu Simonian are known for their single "Safe and Sound" which hit the top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100.

He met his bandmate through Craigslist after responding to an ad offering his production services.

In 2013, he was the recipient of an MTV Video Music Award.

He was born in San Francisco, CA.
