ABOUT RYAN STEWART

Former NHL center and athlete that was originally taken by the Winnipeg Jets as a first round pick in the 1985 draft. Just eight years later, he retired from hockey in the year 1993. Following his 1993 club season, he then began his professional coaching career.

He first discovered his passion for playing hockey as a teenage boy. He was just 18 years old when he got drafted by the Winnipeg Jets.

While playing with the Swindon Wildcats, he scored a career-high 65 goals during the 1991-92 regular season. He then followed up his success with a career-high 20 goals scored during the 1992 Playoffs. He stands 6'1" tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

He was born and raised in Kelowna, Canada.

He was selected during the 1985 NHL Draft just like Wendel Clark .
