Became an original member of the American pop punk band The Story So Far whose sophomore effort, What You Don't See, ranked within the Billboard Top 50.
He and The Story So Far formed in 2007; they put out an EP called 5 Songs that same year. After a couple more EPs, they debuted their first studio album, Under Soil and Dirt.
He was attending college in Santa Barbara with Parker Cannon when The Story So Far started to become popular. He was forced to take leave from college due to the band's success.
He and the rest of the band are from Walnut Creek, California.
He formally performed alongside Kelen Capener in The Story So Far.
