This talented young Japanese actor and voice actor has appeared in numerous adaptations of manga and anime but has also been transitioning into manga-derived ventures that offer more dramatic roles, as evidenced by the best supporting actor awards he received for the 2018 film River's Edge and 2019 movie Kingdom. He has 700,000 followers on Instagram and 700,000 on Twitter.
He had small roles in the Kamen Rider TV series and films before breaking out in the Tomodachi Game live-action TV drama and films and in the Gintama live-action films.
When he heard there was an animated version of the manga hit My Hero Academia being made, he made it clear to producers and others after filming was complete that the Rody Soul character was his and his alone: "I'm the only one who can do it."
