ABOUT SōSUKE GENDA

Professional infielder for the Saitama Seibu Lions in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He represented the Japan national baseball team at the 2019 WBSC Premier12. In 2018, he was selected for the NPB All-Star Game.

After college, he played in the Toyota Industrial League. In 2016, he was the Seibu Lions' third pick.

He has a popular Instagram account gendagenda6, which has amassed 290,000 followers. He primarily posts photos of himself alongside his teammates.

He married Misa Etō. Together they have one son.

He and fellow professional baseball player Shohei Ohtani were both born in Japan.
