ABOUT SADATU USMAN
Famous for her international modeling career, this American-born fashion icon worked for designers and companies such as, respectively, Isabelle Balu and Make Up Forever. Also an entrepreneur, she founded companies called Beautyjunkie and Femmecat.
During her childhood and teenage years, she trained at New York's famous Alvin Ailey School of Dance. Before beginning her modeling career, she briefly attended both Howard University and Pennsylvania State University.
She created and hosted a weekly television show called Candyapple.
She grew up in New York City in a family of both Caribbean and Nigerian heritage. She later gave birth to a son.
She modeled for English fashion designer Vivienne Westwood .
